Muscadine Bloodline announces EP release with new track "Movin' On"

Muscadine Bloodline has announced their new EP titled Movin' On which is slated for release on April 27th. The title track "Movin' On" was released to coincide with the announcement, and the duo's ever-shifting sound is on fully display. In describing the song to Rolling Stone Country, group member Gary Stanton said "once you're past the first chorus people are either over the song or not over the song, so we always want the song to move. In the second verse the guitar changes and has its own little riff, so we just like to let the song move where there's a bunch of different parts and a bunch of different hooks, whether vocally or guitar driven. I feel like the more hooks the better."

Barry Dean and Luke Laird are co-writers on Devin Dawson's debut album

Warner Music Nashville released the debut album Dark Horse by Devin Dawson, a singer-songwriter from California who spent years dreaming of making a living as a music artist. The album combines Dawson's love of the storytelling in country music and the stark contrast of the heavy rock & roll he grew up on as a kid. He collaborated with Barry Dean and Luke Laird on the album's lead track "Dip" which Billboard noted that "the alt-tinged flavor and phrasing of the track recalls the influence of the rock band Dawson fronted in California."

Tyler Johnson comes front and center with new solo track "Give Up On Me"
Following years of success as a songwriter and producer including "Song of the Year" nominations at the 2016 CMAs and ACMs for Cam's "Burning House", Tyler Johnson moves out from behind the controls to the front and center with his solo track "Give Up On Me" which is the first from his upcoming full length album due out later this year. In its premiere of the song, Billboard describes "Give Up On Me" as "riding a compelling mix of low-key beats, churchy keyboards and the kind of high and lonesome falsetto vocals that have been a signature element of Jonhson's part as a producer."
