Raised in Shepherdsville, KY and later cutting his teeth in the bars of Bowling Green while attending Western Kentucky University, Rupard moved to Nashville in 2011 to pursue music full time. He quickly made his mark, signing a publishing deal with Sea Gayle Music and earning the ASCAP Leon Brettler Award that same year. Rupard later became one half of the duo Everette, signing with Broken Bow Records, touring with acts including Brothers Osborne, Larry Fleet, and The Cadillac Three, and performing the Grand Ole Opry over a dozen times. Along the way, he established himself as a sought-after songwriter as well, known for pairing high-energy grooves with clever lyrics. Rupard has earned cuts with artists including Josh Turner, Larry Fleet, Lee Brice, Tracy Lawrence, Thompson Square, Randy Rogers Band and more. Blending bluegrass roots, rock ’n’ roll grit, and a songwriter’s instinct for songs that stick, Rupard has built a career that continues to cross genre lines.
