Lori McKenna - 'The Tree'
Lori McKenna has announced a release date of July 20th for her 10th studio album titled The Tree on CN Records via Thirty Tigers records. It is the follow up to her Grammy-nominated album The Bird and the Rifle and features the lead single "People Get Old." McKenna described the album as being an exploration of family, from stories she has overheard and ones that have been imagined. She told Rolling Stone Country, "I love people's stories about their families — the way they tic and the ways we're all crazy and love each other," she says. "I hope my songs shine a little light on that for a second. Maybe our stories remind us of our families and what they give us. It's beautiful, and sometimes we take it for granted."
